On the last edition, we mentioned the successful integration with Quickbooks. We have recently completed tests with large dealerships that are using Quickbooks for parts and Service, and we have continued to adjust the interface, making the connections seamless.
Now the end user has total control of the Dealer Management System, with the most flexible and well known finance software ever.
If the service department writes up an internal on a vehice in stock, the inventory gets the detail of the charges, and sales get transferred complete with the itemized income and expense numbers, individually or in mass.
With this new interface we are confident we can compete with the more expensive DMS systems currently used by New Car Franchised Dealers at a fraction of the cost.
Another recent addition to our service is that we have become beta testers of the new GotoAssist service by Citrix Systems, This has enabled us to enhance our support response with the ability to connect and share the screen with our customers, we can see theirs and they can see ours, making it easy to troubleshoot and solve any technical issue. All the customer has to do is open a website, and type http://www.fastsupport.com

and enter a nine digit number we can issue, the connection is instant and your problems get solved without having to become a computer expert.
As mentioned in the last newsletter we have replaced the need to send original forms with a fax of the form after it has been printed with a pattern you can select from the forms explorer. We have recently enhanced the forms to be able to have long file names, and the last update in 2008 includes the ability of adding those long filename forms to the old forms and contracts list (for those of you that never got used to the forms explorer) we can do this for you so you don’t have some forms on one while the other forms are in the other. Just give us a call and we will set it up for you.
Now that we are using the GotoAssist service we are noticing that some of you, veterans of the Lease & Loan Master for decades are unaware that “set defaults” on the form printer module avoids the need to use “recall last” and that F10 (on your Keyboard) recalls the last deal.
We have also recently added variables to the program to handle, additional co signer information, and drop down lists to make it easier to select City, State and County, as well as drop downs for Insurance Company and Warranty Company, this will greatly speed up entry of repetitive information.

Trade-in vehicles are now added to your inventory by simply accepting the prompt when the deal is saved to the sold folder; you no longer have to use the recall trade feature.
We have also added the ability to filter using * in the MTD reports and have added trade in stock numbers and various other items.
We remain committed to improving your experience with Lease & Loan Master, please feel free to call and make suggestions and requests, with the GotoAssist you can show us what you want the program to do and we may surprise you with a speedy modification or show you that we already had a solution you where not aware of.
We beat the 22 inch barrier!
Check our FAQ for specific instructions, but we can now program forms up to 99 inches long! So we can go the extra inch and fill in all dates, Dealer name and insurance sections.
We have tested successfuly with the Okidata ml 320, but any printer capable of emulating the IBM Proprinter III should work.
